C. Shelton James
Director

C. Shelton James was appointed to Concurrent’s board of directors in July 1996.

During his distinguished career, he has served on ten boards of public companies and nine audit committees.  Currently, Mr. James is a director of CSP Inc., a public company that develops and markets Internet software business solutions, image processing software, network management integration services and high-performance cluster computer systems.  He is also a director of DRS Technologies, a public company that supplies defense electronic systems to government and commercial customers worldwide.

Mr. James was chief executive officer of Technisource, Inc. from December 2001 until his retirement in July 2002.  From August 1999 to March 2000, Mr. James served as chairman and chief executive officer of Cyberguard Corporation, a provider of information security solutions.  Prior to his role at Cyberguard, Mr. James served in various senior management roles at Elcotel, Fundamental Management Corporation, Gould, Inc. and Systems Engineering Labs.

Mr. James earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Clarkson University and a master’s degree in business administration and taxation from New York University.  He was also a certified public accountant in the State of New York.
