EXPLANATION:  If the SCSI controller card is installed in slot 2 (labeled PMC-2) on the CPU board,

the sysgen will fail with pkginstall checksum errors, such as:

UX:pkginstall: ERROR: content verification of </usr/ccs/lib/cxc> failed

    file cksum <29550> expected <29838> actual

UX:pkginstall: ERROR: content verification of </usr/ccs/lib/cxc> failed

    file cksum <29550> expected <29838> actual

*** INSTALLATION ERROR:

        Installation of the base package has failed.

RESOLUTION:  Ensure that the SCSI controller is located in slot 1, PMC-1, on the CPU board for

the sysgen.  The SCSI controller can be moved to slot 2 if necessary after the installation is complete.
