AFFECTED SYSTEMS:  Power Hawk 700/900

RELEASE LEVEL:  PowerMAX OS 6.3

EXPLANATIONThe xfsdump(1M) command on a PowerMAX OS 6.3 system will spew 'bread:'
messages similar to the following during operation.

        bread: da=        6704 (0x00001a30)  count=    8192 (0x20008)

RESOLUTION: These messages are due to a debug printf() being left in the source code

inadvertently.   The messages do not indicate any problems and are not cause for alarm. The

xfsdump(1M) utility will be corrected in the next service release of PowerMAX OS 6.3. Until

that comes available a Temp Patch (dt5857.ds) that fixes this problem is available from the

Concurrent Hotline.
